Adjunct Instructor of Music
Dr. Danae Witter received her Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree in May 2011 from the University of Southern California, including a minor in theory analysis and electives in viola and music education. She has served as a Guest Violin Instructor of the University of Michigan’s String Preparatory Program and Operations Director and member of the Violin and Viola Faculties at the International Music Academy of Pilsen, CZ and Cambridge International String Academy of Cambridge, UK. As an orchestral player, she has performed in the motion picture recording industry in Los Angeles. Dr.. Witter is an accomplished writer and served as an Associate Editor to the Sevcik project published by Lauren Keiser Publishing Company in New York. She has recently relocated back to Indiana where she is teaching and performing freelance on viola with ensembles such as the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra.
