“Remembering the Reformation” Talk Held at Valparaiso University

WHO: Tal Howard, Ph.D., Phyllis and Richard Duesenberg Chair in Christian Ethics, will give a talk titled “Remembering the Reformation.”

Professor Howard delivers an annual public lecture related to current issues from a theological ethics perspective and provides campus leadership to support the Lutheran Church-related character of Valparaiso University. He is published widely, including “Remembering the Reformation: An Inquiry into the Meanings of Protestantism” and “Protestantism after 500 Years,” co-edited with Mark Noll.

WHAT: “Remembering the Reformation” is part of the Christ College Symposium, an annual series offered by Valpo’s honors college that brings together exemplary scholars, public intellectuals, and artists who address a common theme from distinct disciplinary perspectives. This talk is one of several events Valpo has planned to commemorate the Reformation on campus.
