Aug. 25, 2021 – Valparaiso, Indiana – Deb Singer, MBA, has been named the director of graduate programs for Valparaiso University’s College of Business. Through this appointment, Singer will oversee Valpo’s master of business (MBA) administration program, as well as its eight graduate business certificates.

“I am thrilled to continue my service in the College of Business and to be part of the Valpo MBA team,” Singer said. “Valpo has a unique MBA program that is well-suited to meet the needs of today’s graduate students, and I’m excited to help grow the program’s reach and impact.”

Valpo’s MBA program was designed to be flexible and fit within a student’s schedule. It provides multiple start dates throughout the year and fully remote options. Students can also alternate between full- and part-time status based on their personal and professional needs. This flexible format highlights the desire to help students from all backgrounds achieve their academic and career goals.

The program features a stackable certificate format with graduates completing three certificates in various concentrations while earning their MBA. Concentrations include business intelligence, engineering management and finance.

Singer joined the College of Business in 2013 as the advising and practical experience coordinator. She previously worked in sales and marketing for CIGNA and AIG. She earned her MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
