Valpo Men’s Basketball Season Tickets On Sale Now

Coming off of a seventh consecutive postseason appearance and entering its first season as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, Valparaiso University men’s basketball season tickets are on sale for the 2017–2018 season.

The home schedule this season features nine Missouri Valley Conference games, including a number of renewed conference rivalries, as the Crusaders join the nation’s second-oldest Division I conference. Included among the conference games are matchups against longtime in-state foes Evansville and Indiana State, who were members along with Valpo in the Indiana Collegiate Conference and its predecessor, the Indiana Intercollegiate Conference. The Crusaders shared conference affiliation with both Missouri State and UNI in the Mid-Continent Conference, and most recently spent six seasons in the same league with Loyola.

The non-conference slate is highlighted by a visit from Utah State as part of the Mountain West/Missouri Valley Challenge, as the Crusaders have the opportunity to participate in a conference challenge series for the first time. A strong Samford squad, which won 20 games and advanced to the postseason a year ago, comes to town as part of the non-conference schedule as well.

Prices for season tickets for the 2017–2018 campaign start as low as $177 for the general public and $143.81 for faculty, staff, and recent alumni (graduated May 2013 or later) for reserved bleacher seating. Chairback seats are $398.25 apiece for the general public and $317.13 each for faculty, staff, and recent alumni, while courtside chairbacks are $545.75 apiece. Contact the Valpo ticket office at 1.877.MY.VU.TIX or 219.464.5233, email ValpoAthletics@valpo.edu or visit the ticket office (open M-F, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.), located in the main lobby of the ARC, for more information or to order tickets.
