WHO: Valpo’s Black Student Organization will host the 16th annual Black History Month Dinner to celebrate the achievements of African-Americans in observance of Black History Month.
WHAT: The theme of this year’s celebration is “Advocating for Liberation” and will feature poets, singers and dancers each performing a piece revolving around this theme.
This formal event is open to the public, as well as University students, faculty and staff. Tickets are free for students, $5 for general admission and may be purchased at the Harre Union Welcome Desk, online at valpo.edu/union/tickets or by calling 219.464.6769.
