Zebadiah Hall, director of the Access and Accommodations Resource Center and chair of the Staff Employee Advocacy Council at Valparaiso University, has been named Indiana’s ACT Postsecondary Champion.

The ACT College and Career Readiness Champions include high school seniors, K–12 professionals, postsecondary professionals and workforce professionals who are making a positive impact on their communities through their efforts to advance college and career readiness for all. Champions embody ACT’s mission of education and workplace success and are chosen by the ACT State Councils, who select one Champion per category for each participating state.

In his current role at Valpo, he is responsible for the student intake process for access and accommodation resources, reviewing students’ documentation and interviewing them to determine what accommodations are necessary. In addition to coordinating student accommodations, Hall meets with students throughout the semester and educates faculty and staff on how to support students with their accommodations.

Hall is a regular speaker and facilitator on topics around accommodating students with documented disabilities as well as other underrepresented populations. He holds a bachelor’s in business management from Calumet College of St. Joseph and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
