Vice President for Advancement and Strategic Initiatives

Lisa Hollander, B.A., is responsible for advancement, marketing and communications, and strategic initiatives. Vice President Hollander joined Valparaiso University in 2010 and works closely with the president and University leadership to provide the vision, strategy, and operational direction for long-term constituent engagement and fundraising; University marketing and communications; and other key strategic opportunities.

In 2016, the University launched Forever Valpo: The Campaign for Our Future under Vice President Hollander’s leadership. Forever Valpo is a $250 million endowment campaign that funds student scholarships, supports faculty recruitment and development, and enhances programs that prepare all students to lead and serve.

Prior to Valpo, Vice President Hollander served as a key development professional at DePauw University for 16 years, including as vice president for resource planning and senior philanthropic advisor and as vice president for development and alumni relations.

Vice President Hollander began her advancement career at Franklin & Marshall College after nearly a decade in corporate marketing and sales.
