Students living on campus who wish to have a refrigerator and/or microwave in their room can rent a MicroFridge through Collegiate Concepts. The MicroFridge is an all-in-one combination refrigerator/freezer/microwave engineered with Safe Plug technology to save electricity and reduce the risk of overloading circuits. A student can sign up independently or with a roommate to split the annual rental fee. The MicroFridge is the only option for residents living in Alumni, Lankenau, and Brandt who want a microwave in their room. In Wehrenberg, Beacon, Guild, Memorial Halls and the Sorority Complex, residents are allowed to have one microwave per room. As with other refrigerators, only one MicroFridge is allowed per room. Students living in the Promenade East Apartments and Uptown East Apartments have microwaves and full-size refrigerators provided in their kitchens. Units are delivered at the beginning of the fall semester and picked up at the end of the spring semester. MicroFridge orders are due by early August, and will be delivered to the room before move-in day. Late orders for MicroFridges are not accepted.

- College Concepts handles maintenance of their MicroFridges as stated in their rental agreement. You can submit a service request through www.collegefridge.com/valpo. Students are encouraged to place these requests on their own so the company can work directly with them.
- What if I need to return a Microfridge? Is it possible to get a refund?
