Domestic Vision: Twenty-Five Years of the Art of Joel Sheesley chronicles a quarter century of work by a midwestern realist and Professor of Art at Wheaton College whose paintings explore themes of domesticity and suburban life. This book accompanies the major exhibition of the same name at Valparaiso University's Brauer Museum of Art. Published by Lutheran University Press and edited by Brauer Museum director/curator Gregg Hertzlieb, this approximately 100 page, full color book reproduces all the paintings included in the exhibition and includes scholarly essays by Wayne Roosa, Daniel Siedell, David Morgan, Lisa DeBoer, and E. John Walford.
