Sorority Life

The Panhellenic Council at Valparaiso University is the governing body for the seven member sororities at the University. The Panhellenic Council at Valparaiso University develops and maintains fraternity/sorority life and inter-sorority relations at a high level of accomplishment, and in doing so:

• Considers the goals and ideals of member groups as continually applicable to campus and personal life;
• Promotes superior scholarship as basic to intellectual achievement;
• Cooperates with member sororities and the university administration in concern for and maintenance of high social and moral standards;
• Contributes to the excellence of the University and the outside community through service and academic achievement; and
• Enhances and maintain standards of individual members of this Panhellenic Council through inter-sorority and inter-community relations and high emphasis on academic achievement, all in cooperation with University administration and faculty.

Freshman Scholarship available to members of the class of 2029:

On behalf of the Interfraternity and Panhellenic Councils at Valparaiso University, we would like to welcome you to your first year on campus and provide you with information on an exciting scholarship opportunity. The fall of 2025 marks the 15th year of the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council Freshman Scholarships. Two $300 scholarships will be offered.
