The Student Senate has voted to remove the Liaison Program due to inefficiencies with the Senators getting in contact individually with all the student organizations on Valpo’s campus. Student organizations can now represent themselves by sending a Representative to any Senate meetings to speak during the Forum of Concerns. Senate meetings occur Monday evenings at 8:00 PM in Neils 224. The Forum of Concerns is a section devoted to hearing from the community at the start of the meeting. Persons looking to represent student organizations are more than welcome to speak in Forum of Concerns and then leave the meeting directly after. The total minimum time commitment is less than 10 minutes. Persons representing Student Organizations are encouraged to stay for the entire meeting or speak individually to a Senator in order to ensure that concerns are addressed.
