Erica Plotner

Adjunct Instructor in Theatre



Erica Plotner is an Adjunct Instructor in Theatre, specializing in dance.  She received her Bachelors of Science with a concentration in biology from Purdue University, where she has danced in and choreographed for the Purdue Repertory Company, X-Works, and Higher Ground Dance Company.  She has been instructing over twenty years in which she has received platinum top overall choreography awards at competitions including NYCDA, Headliners, and VIP, to name a few.  Select Valparaiso University choreography credits include Dance Ensemble, Putman County Spelling Bee, Hansel and Gretel, Arabian Nights, and Floyd Collins.  She currently teaches science at Kankakee Valley Middle School, alongside her position here at Valparaiso University.
