SERVING OUR HISPANIC STUDENTS
At a moment when demographic trends are shifting toward greater numbers of underrepresented minority students pursuing postsecondary education, we believe that attaining the HSI designation is more important now than ever. This designation will provide us with the opportunity to enhance educational opportunities for our Hispanic students and to embrace the Serving aspect of it.
OUR MISSION TO SERVE
We believe God is calling Valparaiso University to increase access to undeserved populations and to serve students from all walks of life. We also believe that underrepresented students will bless and help the Valpo community be faithful to its mission. At Valparaiso University, symbols of faith are not only physically at the center of our campus, they are core to our mission.
