The fifth annual Valparaiso University Dance Marathon had its most successful year yet with more than 550 dancers raising more than $69,000 for the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in 2017. In total, Valparaiso University students have raised more than $175,000 for Lurie Children’s and the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals. Dance Marathon is now the largest student-run philanthropy event at the University. Valpo will host the 2018 event on April 7.
