METEOROLOGY
The meteorology department and its storm intercept team celebrated 25 years of convective field study trips at the end of May. These trips have given students the opportunity to apply forecasting knowledge to real-world storm development as they track storms in the Great Plains. Of the 46 total convective field studies, this year’s trip had the most days of severe weather.
