Pulleys, Levers, and Gears, Oh my!
Learn about simple machines by exploring pulleys, levers, and gears through hands-on activities and projects. Together we will discover concepts such as friction and force, how to design machines and put them into motion, and many other exciting topics related to engineering. Students will work to create balloon powered cars, mouse trap cars, and other simple machines.

In this active, music-filled class, campers will learn about a variety of cultures with specific exploration into their music and social gathering practices. Each day, campers will immerse themselves in a different place around the World! Imagine exploring Africa while constructing drums, or learning rhythmic dances with a visit to Brazil. In addition to instrument building and movement, campers will learn and sing simple folk songs and enjoy presentations by guest speakers and musicians. At the end of camp, we will have a chance to showcase each camper’s experience through a final presentation of their own family culture.
