Albert G. Huegli Lectures

Each portion of the Huegli Lectures Event will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room in the Christopher Center for Library and Information Resources. Both the panel discussion on 2/11 by Ann Svennungsen, President, Texas Lutheran University and the lecture on 2/12 by Dr. L. Gregory Jones, Dean of the Divinity School, Duke University, will be open to all at no charge.

Opening Panel Discussion: Callings Through the Ages: Reflections on Vocation in Honor of William Placher

Carolyn Leeb, Lecturer in Theology, Valparaiso University

Dorothy Bass, Director of the Valparaiso Project on the Education and Formation of People in Faith, Valparaiso University

Moderator: Mark Schwehn '67, Professor of Humanities, Christ College

* This panel replaces a scheduled lecture by the late Dr. William Placher of Wabash College, who passed away unexpectedly in November 2008.

Evening Prayer - 8:30 p.m. - Chapel of the Resurrection
Guest preacher, Ann Svennungsen, President, Texas Lutheran University

* The service will include "Holden Evening Prayer" setting of Vespers
