Public Interest Internship with Summer Public Interest Stipend Funding (SPIS) If a student is selected for a public interest position, the student can apply for Summer Public Interest Stipend funding provided the summer public interest employer is not one of Valparaiso Law's approved externship employers. Students may not count the paid hours of the public interest position towards the pro bono requirement.
