Valpo Esports Participates in Lurie Children’s Hospital Game On Event

Cristian Pagan (Senior Psychology), and Joshua Magnall (Senior Mechanical Engineering and German) were selected to represent Valpo Esports at Lurie Children’s Hospital’s Game On Event in September.  During this event, both students had the chance to interact with children in the hospital and bring awareness towards Extra Life, a fundraising program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital that rallies gamers and the gaming community to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services.

During the day Cristian and Josh participated in Lurie Children’s Hospital’s live show called Game On. With several kids and families in attendance, they played Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros alongside children in the hospital.  Additionally, the Live show was broadcast throughout Laure’s Children’s Facilities.

Cristian and Josh’s participation in this monthly event was phenomenal as they showed heart and compassion, and shared a meaningful experience with these kids.  Cristian and Josh were a great representation of Valpo Esports to the great Valpo community
