Preparing students to flourish in a wide variety of career fields across the nonprofit, business, government, and social service sectors. Sociology majors acquire the research tools and analytical skills to prepare them for 21st Century careers through coursework, experiential learning, dedicated mentoring, supervised research, and a strong focus on critical thinking. Dedicated faculty in the program help students cultivate an understanding of the world around them, allowing our graduates to identify solutions to social problems, foster diversity, and establish a solid foundation for success in graduate school, career, and life.
