Join Valpo alumna Kayla Smith ’23 in creating a large-scale collage portrait of Martin Luther King Jr. Participate in a collaborative art project executed over the course of eight weeks, which will be exhibited alongside works from the Brauer Museum of Art’s remarkable collection of American art.

MLK Sunday Worship

Come worship and commemorate Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Hear a message from guest preacher Rev. John E. Jackson Sr. of Trinity United Church of Christ in Gary, Indiana. Praise music will be led by Shantée Lewis ’22 and the Valparaiso University Gospel Choir, with liturgy drawn from the African-American Lutheran Hymnal “This Far by Faith.”
