2014 Chinese New Year Celebration
The 2014 Chinese New Year (the Year of House) Celebration will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2 in the Harre Union Ballrooms. The doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy spicy beef, Gongbao chicken, fried rice, vegetable delights, and more. After dinner there will be performances, music, and dance.
Tickets are available online or at the Harre Union Welcome Desk (464.5007). Tickets are $5 for Valpo students, faculty, and staff and $10 for the general public.
This event is co-sponsored by the Valparaiso University Chinese Student Association, the Confucius Institute at Valparaiso University, and the Chinese and Japanese Studies Program.
