Szu-Ping Chang Wong, a native of Taiwan, is Minster of Music and Organist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Valparaiso, Indiana. She serves as collaborative pianist for the Valparaiso University
Chorale and the Bach Choir. She also teaches Functional Piano at VU.
Szu-Ping received her Master degree in Organ Performance from VU, where she studied under Martin Jean. After graduated from VU, Szu-Ping received her Certificate in Organ Performance from Northwestern University, where she studied under Wolfgang Rubsam. She served as the organ scholar while studied at Northwestern University Chapel (Alice Millar Chapel) before returning to Valparaiso with her family.
Szu-Ping was the organ repertoire contributor for the 2023 Presbyterian Association of Musicians in American called “Call to Worship”. This is a resource book for church musicians
for each Sunday and Holy Week throughout the church year. It includes music for hymns, anthems, organ, piano, and handbell.
