I am Manideep Chowdary Gadde, an MBA graduate from India with a major in business analytics. My time at Valparaiso University was a wonderful experience that has truly changed my life. When I first arrived, I was nervous about being in a new country, far from home. But soon, Valpo became more than just a university. It became my second home and my family in the United States.

The College of Business at Valparaiso University has been a major part of my journey. The faculty and staff were always welcoming and supportive. I really enjoyed every class I took and learned so much from each one. Every course helped me grow both academically and personally. I am especially thankful to Professor [Jiangxia (Renee) Liu], former Professor Sanjay Kumar, [dean of the College of Business] Matthew Luth, Professor Elizabeth Gingerich, and the administration team, Jessica Gillespie, Brett Calland, and most importantly, [assistant dean] Deborah Singer. Each of them supported me from the beginning of my studies to the end. They guided me whenever I needed help and motivated me to do my best. Their constant encouragement made me more confident and prepared for my career.
As part of my [master of business administration] program, I completed an internship as a business analyst under the supervision of former Professor Erik Froelich. Professor Froelich was more than just a supervisor. He was a great mentor and a good friend who guided me closely throughout the internship. He was always there to support me, give honest feedback, and push me to improve. I can confidently say he played a big role in helping me become not only a better student but also a better person. During my internship, I learned how business operations work in a professional setting in the United States, which was quite different from what I experienced in India. This hands-on experience helped me develop my analytical and communication skills and gave me confidence to work in a global environment.

One of the things I loved most about Valpo is its diverse and inclusive culture. The Office of International Programs provided many opportunities for international students like me to explore American culture while sharing our own traditions. I took part in many events and trips that helped me connect with students from all around the world. These moments gave me memories that I will always treasure.

Looking back, every person I met at Valparaiso University, including professors, classmates, staff, and friends, has influenced me in one way or another. Over the past two years, I have grown both personally and professionally. Valpo taught me not only business and analytics but also values like kindness, community, and respect.
I am truly thankful to everyone at Valpo who made my journey so special. I will always carry the lessons, friendships, and memories I gained here with me throughout my life. This university will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I am proud to say that I am part of the Valpo family.
