- Being the only international student who graduated from Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in my class
How Valpo prepared you for your career path:
I got my current job from my capstone internship. I was lucky that they sponsored my green card and gave me the opportunity to stay in the US. The nursing program has helped me to be workplace ready. I sometime work as a charge nurse and/or preceptor on my unit. Also, working as a student ambassador at the Office of International Programs has taught me how to interact with the people from different cultural backgrounds. My experience at Valpo has helped me to achieved my dream and made the impossible, possible!
