Pastor Katherine Museus Dabay joined the Chapel of the Resurrection team in January 2021 after years of feeling a call to campus ministry. It’s been thrilling for her to find her place at a university with such a lively and diverse worship life – how cool to be offered daily opportunities for reconnecting with God and taking time for holy rest!
You’ll see Pastor Kate preaching at chapel worship services, cheering-on student worship teams, and having conversations at Uptown. A Certified Trainer with Inspiring Comfort, she is passionate about equipping people with the confidence and skills we need to build a community of mutual care.
In response to God’s free grace, Pr. Kate strives to follow the call to love God and neighbor through relationship-building, local service and organizing, and “striving for justice and peace in all the earth.” She is passionate about exploring the big questions of life and faith; her favorite parts of ministry are small-group discussions and one-on-one conversation.
Before coming to Valpo, Kate served for five years as the associate pastor of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Franklin, TN.
