About
Biography
Professor Bruskoski joined the faculty of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program in the fall of 2018 as Clinical Assistant Professor.
Professor Bruskoski is dedicated to creating a learner-centered experience in her courses, where students are actively engaged, collaborating, and developing critical thinking skills. She has developed a comprehensive team-based curriculum for the courses she leads, including ophthalmology/otorhinolaryngology, pulmonology, and cardiology.
As a certified healthcare simulation educator, Professor Bruskoski has also developed and facilitates the clinical reasoning simulation thread that runs throughout the entire didactic year of the Physician Assistant program. This initiative is designed to enhance students’ clinical decision-making skills in a simulated healthcare environment.
Professor Bruskoski has presented at the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Education Forum on Teaching and Assessing Diagnostic Reasoning with Intentionality. Her educational and research interests include team-based learning, clinical reasoning, and simulation.
