About

Biography

Professor Koch joined the College of Nursing and Health Professions in Fall 2014 and serves as a simulation education specialist for the Center for Experiential Learning (CEL). She works collaboratively with other faculty to coordinate, develop, and implement traditional and virtual reality simulations throughout undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as interprofessionally. Additionally, she manages HIPAA, bloodborne pathogens, and OSHA compliance and assists students in the lab. Professor Koch has experience as a staff nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
