How To Join

Thinking about joining a fraternity or sorority? Here’s what you need to know to get started.

Qualifications

Eligible students can seek membership in a fraternity or sorority once they have completed 12 credit hours at Valpo or another accredited institution and maintain a 2.50 GPA (some chapters may have higher GPA requirements). Formal recruitment occurs in the Spring semester for both fraternities and sororities. Not sure which council is right for you? Unsure of how to best navigate through the joining process? Fraternity Recruitment

The Interfraternity Council or IFC consists of 10 men’s fraternities, including 1 historically Black fraternity. Learn more about our chapters and express interest in recruitment here.
