Biography

Professor Pinchok joined the faculty in April 2017 and serves as the Director of Clinical Education for, and teaches in, the Physician Assistant Program. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Professor Pinchok is a graduate of The Chicago Medical School/Finch University of Health Sciences physician assistant program. Prior to coming to Valparaiso University, Professor Pinchok practiced clinically since 1997 as a physician assistant in emergency medicine, urgent care, orthopedics, and most recently in cardiology where she specialized in arrhythmia, heart failure, and implantable cardiac device management. In addition to her faculty and administrative responsibilities, she maintains clinical expertise as a physician assistant within the specialty of cardiology at Franciscan Physician Network. Professor Pinchok has extensive professional experience with pharmaceutical and
medical device companies and has participated in clinical research for cardiac medical device companies. She has spoken at Heart Failure conferences and has been an educator at seminars teaching novice device technicians about cardiac devices and strategies to integrate those devices into the life of the patient. During her practice in the clinic setting, she has been a preceptor for physician assistant students.
