Valpo Graduates First Class of Physician Assistant Students

Physician Assistants are nationally certified and state-licensed medical professionals who practice medicine on health care teams.They practice and prescribe medication in all 50 states. PAs take medical histories, conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, assist in surgery, perform procedures, make rounds in hospitals, and much more. You will find PAs in every field of medicine.

At Valpo, you will develop essential skills in critical thinking, communication, leadership, and patient care. We are committed to educating PAs for practice in a variety of health care settings. You will benefit from the College of Nursing and Health Professions’ inter-disciplinary curriculum and opportunities to study, work, and learn abroad.
