The Jewelry Making class teaches order of operations, working independently on unique projects, critical thinking, and fine motor skills. Students learn not only artistic composition, but also industry tricks and tips—not to mention business and entrepreneurship. Math is also very important to jewelry making, as it involves working with precise measurements and the implementation of predetermined ratios and calibrations. Art and creative pursuits are incredibly important for a well-rounded education and individual.
