Gain real world experience applying psychology beyond the classroom through supervised community internships that build professional skills and connections to support your career goals. In PSY 286, students work with children with autism in a local school, while PSY 486 offers individualized placement support from Dr. Brown, who helps each student connect with a community partner aligned with their career goals.

Psychology students are welcome to participate in any of Valpo’s 25 study abroad programs, and many of those opportunities include focused experiential learning opportunities.
