Valpo graduate admissions requirements

Valpo’s Office of Graduate Admissions has certain requirements that all doctoral, master’s, and certificate applicants must meet. Our graduate admissions requirements include:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A 3.0 grade point average (B average) in all your undergraduate and/or graduate coursework, except for two programs. Our Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree requires a 3.25 GPA, while our occupational therapy doctorate program requires a 3.3 GPA.
  • Submitting all required, official documents outlined for U.S. or international students.

Applicants who do not meet Valpo’s graduate admissions requirements—but have reason to believe they can succeed in and benefit from graduate study—will be considered on an individual basis and, if appropriate, may be admitted conditionally.
