2005-2006 Course Planning Sheet
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
The Bachelor of Arts degree is recommended for those pursuing a general degree in psychology, or anyone who prefers taking foreign language over expanded math/science requirements in their general education and major program. Consider the Bachelor of Science degree if you are planning to attend graduate school in psychology.
A minimum of 27 credits of psychology courses are required for the Bachelor of Arts degree. No more than 48 credits of psychology may be counted toward the overall total of 124 credits required for graduation.
In addition to the psychology requirements listed below, you must complete all general education requirements, and also one of the following:
A minor
A second major
A psychology major of at least 40 credits.
Below is a chart which gives requirements in different areas.
