Workshop Description:

Our upcoming middle school/high school workshop, Drawn to Teach led by Josh Stumpenhorst will get you moving toward your professional growth goals! Josh will dive into the six key areas of high quality teaching:

  • Teaching What Matters

If any of these topics align with your teaching goals, please join us on February 27, 2023! Participants can expect an engaging day of learning with practical and easy to implement strategies.

This is not your typical “sit and get” workshop- participants will be hands-on in the learning throughout the day. This would be an excellent workshop to attend with a teammate, as there will be plenty of time for collaboration to incorporate workshop strategies in your daily teaching plan. Be prepared to push your thinking about how we do the work we do with students in a fun and interactive day of learning!

About Josh

Josh Stumpenhorst is a junior high Learning Commons Director in suburban Chicago, IL where he lives with his wife and two sons. He holds a Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction as well as a National Boards Certification in early adolescence social science. His work as a classroom teacher has earned Josh many awards and honors at both the state, national and international level. However, his greatest pride is in the recognition given by the students and parents who he works with every day.

Format: Full-day, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

Coffee, tea, and a light refreshments will be provided in the morning. A hot buffet will be served for lunch. All meals are included in the registration price.

  • Early Registration (through 2/3/23): $125 per person
  • After 2/3/23: $150 per person
  • *Group Discount! Register 5 people and get a sixth registration for free!
