Hello Undergraduate Students!

On behalf of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA), I would like to invite any and all pre-medical undergraduate students to our annual ShaDO day at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM) on Friday April 28th, 2017!

Each year, SOMA chapters from osteopathic medical schools across the country provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to learn what it is like to be a medical student.

What exactly is ShaDO Day? On ShaDO Day, we invite pre-medical students to come and shadow current osteopathic medical students at MU-COM and get a glimpse into the “average day” of a medical student. Please join us and spend a day with current students, learn from our faculty, and explore our state-of-the-art facilities.

We have planned a day in which you can sit through a typical lecture, interact with student and faculty panels, witness demonstrations in our OMM, Anatomy, and Simulation labs, and make connections with our medical students that can help guide you towards your ultimate goal.

If you are thinking about medicine as a future career, then this program is designed for you!
