The Valparaiso University Writing Center
The Blue Light
When our blue light is turned on in the Writing Center, we’re open. Check for a peer consultant near the lamp or professional staff in the nearby office.
THE BLUE LIGHT is always open online. Our blog categorizes posts for editing tips, citation and bibliography, style, various Valpo courses, creative writing, and even humor. Posts will reflect our collective experience as writers at Valpo. That includes you too!
Check out THE BLUE LIGHT OFTEN. We’re waiting for you to post! CLICK IT ON THIS PAGE to the right, or go to http://blogs.valpo.edu.
Your writing . . .Our pleasure.
Since most college writing is a communicative act, discuss ideas and drafts with a reader as you go long. At the Writing Center you’ll find readers happy to confer, question, and advise.
We offer conferences face-to-face and online with trained peer consultants and professional staff. Last year over 450 students—undergrads and graduate students—conferred with us.
