College Financial Aid & Student Accounts

The Office of Financial Aid at Valparaiso University

We believe that college should be an option for everyone who wants to further their education. Through the Office of Financial Aid at Valpo, we provide student financial services surrounding financial aid, undergraduate scholarships, and tuition costs.

Student Financial Services

We encourage you to file early regardless of your family’s income. 98% of Valpo undergraduates receive college financial aid through scholarships, grants and other sources. Plus, any Fall 2022 undergraduate admitted student who files the FAFSA and includes Valpo’s school code (001842) will automatically receive a minimum of $1,000 as part of their total financial aid offer. Just for filing!

Parents and students can complete the FAFSA starting in October each year. Information for the FAFSA student accounts will include information for the appropriate tax year and can be uploaded to the FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. Our school code is 001842.

Please also review any special circumstances regarding your financial situation and submit the special circumstances forms which can be located here.
