Financial Aid & Student Accounts
Student Financial Services
Student Financial Services consists of The Office of Financial Aid and The Office of Student Accounts. We believe that college should be an affordable option for everyone who wants to further their education. We provide student financial services surrounding financial aid, undergraduate scholarships, and tuition costs.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is getting some major revisions starting with the 2024-2025 year. To learn about some of the updates to the 2024-2025 FAFSA, please click here. Due to these large updates, the 2024-2025 application will open December 31 instead of the usual October 1st.
We encourage parents and students to file a FAFSA, regardless of your family’s income. 98% of Valpo undergraduates receive college financial aid through scholarships, grants and other sources. Our school code is 001842. The FAFSA will include information for the appropriate tax year, and tax information can be uploaded to the FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool for 2023-2045 and the IRS Direct Data Exchange for 2024-2025.
Please also review and submit any special circumstances regarding your financial situation.
If you are an admitted or current student, please book an appointment here, regarding any financial aid questions.
