Valparaiso Poetry Review is an online journal that presents poems, interviews, and essays by new, emerging, or well-known poets. VPR also offers book reviews and suggests an extensive reading list with recent and recommended books of contemporary poetry and poetics. Initiated in 1999, Valparaiso Poetry Review is one of the longest running and most distinguished online literary journals in the country.
Founded in summer 2011 as a sister publication to Valparaiso Poetry Review (VPR), Valparaiso Fiction Review (VFR) is a publication of Valparaiso University and its English department. VFR publishes two editions a year, usually around the first of December and the first of May, and this highly-respected journal features fiction by established or emerging authors from the United States and abroad.
The Welcome Project collects oral histories about the complexity of living together amidst increasing diversity and difference. Students, faculty, and staff at Valparaiso University and members of the surrounding community tell stories that are captured in video or audio format.
