About
With a background in both journalism and art history, Claire brings deep writing experience and a passion for visual storytelling to build brands in the digital world.
She graduated with a degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Iowa and started her career in social media strategy in Chicago. With 10+ years of experience working at Ogilvy Chicago, she led integrated social media strategy and content for global brands. After moving to Northwest Indiana, she led social media strategy, content, and community management at NiSource, one of the largest fully regulated utility companies in the United States.
Claire joined Valparaiso University’s marketing team in 2024, where she leads academic marketing communications across all channels, including digital, social media, email, web content, and more. She’s thrilled to be part of the Valpo community, pursuing her calling in higher education and sharing the incredible stories of our Beacons.
