About
Cortney McDonald ’18, ’26 MBA, is the director of academic and admission marketing at Valparaiso University, where she leads the strategy, development, and execution of marketing initiatives that support undergraduate and graduate recruitment. In this role, she partners closely with admission leadership to strengthen Valpo’s enrollment outcomes, elevate its market position, and ensure a cohesive, student-centered recruitment experience.
Cortney earned her bachelor’s degree from Valpo and is finishing her master of business administration (MBA) in 2026. She’s passionate about sharing student stories and helping future Beacons see themselves at Valpo.
She’s based in Kretzmann Hall 103D and is always here to chat or lend a hand.
