Students can access e-bills each semester to view tuition and fees. Parents must request proxy access to see student balances, following FERPA privacy guidelines.

All incoming freshman and transfer students receive consideration for merit scholarships at the time of application for admission.

Valparaiso University offers a variety of loan opportunities to help make your education affordable. Whether you’re a student or parent, you’ll find federal, private, and institutional loan programs with competitive rates and flexible terms. Use the resources below to explore your options, complete required steps, and make informed decisions about borrowing.

Grants, like scholarships, do not need to be repaid, and they may be renewable. However, grants are based on results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students must comply with the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP) to be eligible for renewal after the first year.

Questions About Your Financial Aid?

Congratulations on your admission to Valparaiso University! If you have questions about your financial aid offer, loans, billing, or next steps, our Student Financial Services team is here to help.

Estimate Your Cost

The Net Price Calculator helps prospective students and families estimate the cost of attending Valparaiso University after grants and scholarships. Based on recent student award data, it provides an estimate of financial aid and remaining costs to help families plan ahead.

These estimates are not guarantees of aid, and students must still complete all admissions and financial aid requirements by the appropriate deadlines. Families with unusual financial circumstances are encouraged to contact the Office of Financial Aid for assistance.
