An effort is under way to renew and enhance the Chapel of the Resurrection, which for half a century has stood as a central symbol of Lutheran character and mission at Valparaiso University.
The Chapel of the Resurrection Fundraising Initiative: Our Future in Faith is an undertaking designed to prepare the chapel for dynamic ministry in the years ahead. According to President Mark A. Heckler, the Chapel of the Resurrection stands "as the centerpiece of campus and the heart of worship, service, leadership, and reconciliation for the campus community."

Please join us for the Senior Service of Holy Communion this Saturday, May 18, at 8 p.m. in the Main Chapel. Rev. Charlene M. Rachuy Cox, University Pastor, preaches and presides. Baccalaureate at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 19, takes the place of our regular Sunday service. University Pastor James A. Wetzstein presides and President Mark Heckler speaks.

Worship isn't just for Sundays! During the school year, the Chapel offers eight different services a week, including 20 minutes of daily Morning Prayer Monday through Friday, Candlelight and Celebrate services. Read more.
