The Computing and Information Sciences department at Valparaiso University offers courses to undergraduate and graduate students that help them to understand, evaluate, automate, and improve processes — skills that can be applied to almost any problem.
Undergraduate and Graduate Programs
A flexible major plan and two graduate programs offer thorough training in the principles of computer science, along with a plethora of electives that allow students to apply their training to a wide variety of fields.
By removing barriers to enrollment wherever possible, the department encourages non-majors to sample its course offerings. Many challenging and valuable upper-level courses have just one or two prerequisites.
