Once you submit your deposit, you will receive information about FOCUS, Valparaiso University’s orientation and registration event for new students.
Parent FOCUS Fee Waived: Submitting your deposit secures your spot at FOCUS, our in-person new student orientation program. Students who deposit and register for FOCUS by May 1 will have their FOCUS parent/guest fee waived for up to 2 guests to join them at orientation in June.
Priority Housing: Students who deposit by May 1, and plan to live on campus, will be given priority housing consideration by guaranteeing first choice in one of our first-year residence halls. Housing is chosen at FOCUS orientation.
Bookstore Credit: Students who visit campus in person in the month of April, and deposit by May 1, will receive a $200 credit to your student account to be used in the University Bookstore. Here you can purchase books, supplies, or Valpo gear.
Drawing for 1-Year Free Meal Plan: Students who deposit by May 1 will be entered into a drawing to receive one free year of a residential or commuter meal plan.
By July 1 – Fall Semester
By December 1 – Spring Semester
Submit your Health Form and Proof of Immunizations to secure your enrollment in classes and AVOID a HOLD on your academic record.
Missed the deadline?
Submit anyway, the Health Form and Proof of Immunizations. If this form is not complete within TWO weeks there will be a HOLD on your academic record. The hold will prevent you from accessing grades and registering for classes.

Ensure all of your final transcripts have been submitted to Valpo. This may include final high school transcripts, any dual credit transcripts from the awarding college/university, or all available official college/university transcripts if transferring to Valpo.
