Fitness Class Schedule

Classes available: Body Detailing, Yoga, Cardio Jam , BOSU Body Sculpting , Zumba, Pilates, and more!

*Free Classes are only free for Fitness Center members.  Non-members may participate with punch-card.

Group Fitness classes are open to members of the Valparaiso University community (Students, Faculty/Staff, and spouses).

You may join a class at any time. All classes are first come first serve.  20 person limit, so come early.

Body Detailing (Location: Fitness Center)

  • 1 punch from punch-card
  • This class is designed to help you tighten and tone your body by incorporating muscle building exercises that will help you burn more calories and loss fat faster than cardio alone. (approx. 45 min.)

Yoga (Location: Fitness Studio in ARC)

  • 1 punch from punch-card
  • Increased flexibility, muscle endurance and relieve stress by taking part in this popular class.  Bringing your own mat to class is recommended, as there are only a limited number of mats available.  (approx. 45 min.)

Body Blast (Location: Fitness Center)

  • 1 punch from punch-card
  • Designed to introduce basic moves while keeping your heart rate up.  Join this high intense workout for a great calorie burn.  (approx. 45 min.)

BOSU Body Sculpting (Location: Fitness Studio in ARC)

  • 1 punch from punch-card
  • Build strong muscles of the upper and lower body, as well as your core by using a variety of exercise techniques.  Bands, balls, tubing, weights, and much more are integrated into this pumped up workout. (approx. 45 min.)

Zumba  (Location: Varies)

  • 1 punch from punch-card
  • Dance... Dance... Dance... This high energy class uses motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow to leave your worries behind.  ZUMBA is a mixture of body sculpting movements and exciting easy to follow dance steps.  Only requirement is to have FUN! All levels welcome! (approx. 45 min.)

Pilates (Location: Varies)

  • 1 punch from punch-card
  • Pilates is an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercises.  It will help strengthen your core and keep you flexible.  (approx. 45 min.)




  • Indoor Cycling (Location: Fitness Studio in ARC)- If you like to ride a bike for exercise, then you will love Indoor Cycling.  This class is design to strengthen your legs and increase your endurance and stamina.  Location is in the ARC  (approx. 45 min.)
  • CORE- Focus on strengthening the entire torso, including abdominals, obliques, and lower back muscles. (approx 25 min.)

  • Butts and Guts- Targets major trouble areas for most people.  This class is the perfect class for toning your abs, thighs and back sides.  (approx 30 min)
  • Boot Camp- If you want a total body workout that will get your heart rate up every time, this is the class for you. This class is a really great combination of both strength and cardio.


ALL Classes are first-come first-serve. No sign-up required. (20 person limit, so come early!)

**You do not have to be a Fitness Center member to participate in fitness classes.  If you are NOT  a member, Lunch Time Fitness provides an opportunity for faculty/staff to participate.  There is NO non-member fee as a benefit for being an employee.
