Light the Way

LCMS-U will be hosting a Fundraiser Concert Gala in partnership with Light The Way, an organization seeking to share the gospel in Northwest Indiana. In 2023, Light the Way hosted two worship nights inspired by the Asbury Revival in Kentucky. Seeking to share God’s love and light through the power of music, the Valparaiso University Praise Band partnered with Light The Way in October for their second worship event, held in Chesterton.

LCMS-U will host a Fundraiser Concert Gala in partnership with Light The Way this March. This concert will be held in the Chapel of the Resurrection on March 23 from 4-8 pm. This concert will include live praise music from a community band, the Valpo Student Praise Band, and a silent auction. All proceeds will go towards furthering the ministry of Light the Way, including their establishment as a 501 (C)(3) Nonprofit organization, and costs for four worship events planned in 2024 (including one at Valpo’s Central Park Plaza in October). For more information about Light the Way and upcoming events, follow their Facebook page, Light the Way

Immerse yourself in soul-stirring melodies, bid on unique items in the silent auction, and contribute to a cause that spreads joy and purpose. Let’s unite in harmony, raising funds that resonate with the spirit of giving and illuminating the way for a brighter future. Your presence matters, and your contribution makes a lasting difference!

There is a limited number of free tickets for students, staff, and faculty. To receive your free ticket, fill out this Google form! To purchase additional tickets for the event ($20), follow the Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.com/light-the-way
