Undergraduate Application Process

We know you’re busy studying, learning, and adjusting to a changed lifestyle during COVID-19, and Valpo’s Admission Office continues to accept applications and required documents throughout the Spring and Summer. We’ve made our admission process as simple and efficient as possible; simply follow the steps below. If you have questions, call the Admission Office at 219.464.5011 or reach out to your admission counselor.

How do I apply?

Submit an application as soon as possible. Choose the application method that works best for you.

Admission Requirements

You can enroll as an undergraduate if you:

  • Earned or will earn a high school diploma
  • Submit your high school and/or college transcripts
  • Submit your SAT and/or ACT scores
  • Want to live your life to the fullest

Take the SAT and/or ACT

Take the SAT or ACT as soon as possible and have your scores sent to Valpo (SAT code 1874, ACT code 1256). If you’ve already taken the test, you can self-report on the application, but if you’re admitted we’ll need official scores by June 1.

Request Other Test Scores

If you’ve taken Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or other college-level tests, have your scores sent to Valpo’s Admission Office.

Request Transcripts

Have your guidance counselor send your official high school transcripts to Valpo’s Admission Office. A transcript request form is included in the downloadable app. Because we realize transcripts and test scores can be a bit more difficult to send right now, we are accepting screenshots until official copies become available.

Share Your ZeeMee Page

ZeeMee is a free app that allows students to use photos and videos to showcase themselves for college admission offices. We love it because it’s a great way to get to know our applicants and make the review process more holistic. If you decide to join ZeeMee, we hope you’ll share your profile with us (though it is completely optional).
