Financial Aid & Student Accounts

Student Financial Services

Student Financial Services consists of The Office of Financial Aid and The Office of Student Accounts. We believe that college should be an affordable option for everyone who wants to further their education. We provide student financial services surrounding financial aid, undergraduate scholarships, and tuition costs.

Important Information

The Office of Financial Aid has moved to the Duesenberg Welcome Center, located at 1620 Chapel Drive. We are no longer in Kretzmann Hall.

We encourage parents and students to file a FAFSA, regardless of your family’s income. 98% of Valpo undergraduates receive college financial aid through scholarships, grants and other sources. Our school code is 001842. The FAFSA will include information for the appropriate tax year, and tax information can be uploaded to the FAFSA using the IRS Direct Data Exchange.

Please also review and submit any special circumstances regarding your financial situation.

If you are an admitted or current student, please book an appointment here, regarding any financial aid questions.

  • December 1: FAFSA opens for the 2025-2026 academic year
  • February 1: 1098T available on DataVU
  • April 15: FAFSA Filing deadline for Indiana State Grants
